Chief Information Officer
Heidi Larson was named Chief Information Officer in June 2018. In this role, Heidi drives technology, strategy, and governance processes and ensures Optum delivers cost-effective, high-quality, and scalable technology services to serve the needs of our workers’ compensation and auto no-fault customers.
Heidi has more than 20 years’ experience in driving technology strategy and operations. She has led teams in technology, product development, and operations and is passionate about building digital products and services to improve people’s lives, as well as technology enhancements to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience.
Heidi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, MN.
