Boomer Leopold

As Chief Financial Officer, Boomer Leopold oversees all aspects of financial management for the Optum Workers’ Compensation and Auto No-Fault division. With responsibility for financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operations, Boomer leads a team of experienced and talented financial professionals who have continually provided timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and support to the organization during a time of tremendous change and growth.

Boomer is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of experience in public and private accounting and finance. An alumnus of Arthur Andersen, where he specialized in health care, Boomer gained financial experience in the restaurant industry prior to joining Optum in 2003 as a controller. He has also served in various key operating roles at Optum, but since 2006 has focused on finance. Boomer graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting and finance.
