CMS releases new WCMSA Reference Guide version 3.1

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released an updated Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside (WCMSA) Reference Guide , Version 3.1., dated May 11, 2020, found at this link, Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set Aside Arrangements.

The single update to the Reference Guide is found in Section 10.3 and documents the new Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Life Table, https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr68/nvsr68_07-508.pdf. CMS started using this new life table as of April 1, 2020.
