Jeannine Foster
President and Chief Executive Officer, Optum Workers’ Compensation and Auto No-fault
This spring, Optum welcomed Jeannine Foster as our newest CEO. She started her career in advertising and honed her skills—leading and working in the healthcare market for more than 20 years in a variety of roles to get to this leadership achievement.
With Jeannine at the helm, Optum has already made some important changes to our organization:
- We unified our structure to become a more functionally-focused, rather than product-centric business which corresponds to a central support system for all Optum products and services to better serve the needs of our clients
- We increased the percentage of women on our executive leadership team by 20%
- We re-evaluated our core mission and goals and are improving care to the injured people we ultimately support
Already we are seeing positive growth, and are optimistic for our future. It truly is an exciting time for our organization.
