Michael Parnell
CEO Community Plan of Nebraska
J. Michael Parnell currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska. Prior to this role, he served as CEO for the Community Plan of Mississippi and in various leadership positions supporting both clinical and cost containment strategies. Before joining UnitedHealthcare, Parnell worked in executive roles in large health systems in Philadelphia, PA and Jackson, MS. In addition to managed Medicaid, his experiences span inpatient, outpatient, acute and post-acute clinical areas as well as large capital projects and service line growth.
