A message from Tony Martin - Hispanic Heritage Month

As a first-generation Cuban-American, I am humbled as I reflect on all of those that immigrated to the U.S. to give their families an opportunity for a better life – and once here, have worked so hard! The Hispanic culture truly is mosaic as it includes so many countries, cultures and ethnicities (and amazing food!). And while each one is unique – we are united.

My father left a communist Cuba to ensure that I, and more importantly my children, would have the opportunity for a better life. During Hispanic Heritage Month, I celebrate not only the contributions we make toward the economy, culture and community, but give tremendous thanks to a country that gives all of us the opportunity to do so! SALUD!
