As General Manager of Ancillary Product Development, Eileen Fuentes-Ramallo is responsible for product development and innovation including strategy development, product positioning and platform integration. Our resident expert on ancillary benefit management, Eileen understands the impacts ancillary programs have on the injured workers’ return to functionality, and the financial impact of managing total loss ratio for payers.
Eileen has spent her career in medical management and cost containment programs for workers’ compensation, property, casualty and disability insurance. She has proven expertise in managing high-exposure case audits and developing innovative strategies to mitigate risks. Her keen focus on continuous improvement of overall program outcomes and simplifying provider management eases the administration process for clients.
Prior to Optum, Eileen served as executive vice president at Healthcare Solutions, Inc., where she was responsible for strategy development, service delivery, sales and product positioning for ancillary services.
Eileen holds a Master of Science degree from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University.
